Compass USA offers a variety of programs for school groups specially designed to meet their learning needs and interests. We customize all school group tours and homestays depending upon the course of study or tour that you desire.
We can combine several options into one program including a dorm stay on a college campus, a homestay, an educational study tour with experts in a particular field of study, camping, city tours, and interaction with American schools or groups that share common interests in art, education, sports or other educational options. In addition, we can help you connect your school to an American school to facilitate a sister school relationship. Our staff specializes in customizing a program to meet your learning needs.
Study Tours: A study tour is a select opportunity for groups of youth or adults to learn and travel while still having fun as they
see, discuss, and experience history, art, science, and the United States and Canada for themselves on our unique
educational journeys.
Integrated Study or School Group Programs: Select from a menu of choices to create a program that will meet your academic
learning needs. These include homestays with American host families, outdoor leadership and camp programs at American
camps, ESL study during the homestay or in an American college while staying in a dormitory, study tours throughout the
United States with a focus on topics of your choice, and tours throughout the USA and Canada.
Sample Itinerary: (Elementary School)
Day 1: Arrive at University - Unpack in your dormitory room
Days 2-5: 9:00-12:30 PM: ESL Classes
12:30-2:00 PM: Lunch and Break
2:00-5:00 PM: Activity with American Conversation Pal
5:00-7:00 PM: Dinner and Free Time
7:00-9:00 PM: Campus Recreation
Days 6-8: Camp Fun at YMCA hiking, swimming, hay ride, fishing, crafts,
ropes course, campfire, optional horse riding
Days 8-11: Homestay with Host Family
Days 11-13: Los Angeles , San Francisco, New York City or Washington D.C. Tour
Day 14: Homeward Bound!
