Compass USA provides worry-free quality group homestays throughout the USA.
Participants reside with carefully selected caring American host families & are matched
in a timely fashion.
All homestays are customized to meet the special needs of each group.
All participants gain a practical, living knowledge of American culture and the
English language.

Cultural Homestay - 3 days to 4 weeks
15 to 25 students, accompanied by a bilingual escort, live with American host families in a designated community. A local Compass USA coordinator facilitates the homestay program including weekly sight-seeing excursions, twice-weekly afternoon activities, welcome and farewell parties, and airport transfers.
Includes:
Local transfers between the airport and the host community
One (1) full-day excursion per week
Two (2) afternoon activities per week, including welcome and farewell parties
Carefully screened volunteer host families
Participant & Host Family Orientations
Full services from the Denver Staff, Regional and Program Coordinators*

Academic Homestay - 1 week to 4 weeks
In addition to the basic cultural homestay, participants attend classes 12 hours per week. Classes focus on American culture, English language skills and American living skills. Carefully trained Compass USA teachers, textbooks & supplemental materials are provided. Our class ratio never exceeds fourteen students to one teacher.

Customized Homestay - 3 days to 4 weeks
Customized programs designed to meet specific group and school group requests. In the past these have included basketball camp, tennis instruction, outdoor recreation, American English conversation pals, school and business tours, cultural tours and ski lessons.

Select Group Homestay - 3 days to 4 weeks
for 5-14 adventurous travelers who appreciate the camaraderie and security of a small group, but don't require all the amenities of a full package homestay. Includes weekly excursions, welcome party, and airport transfers. Special interests & activities available.

Same as cultural homestay except afternoon activities are not included and one informal family get-together is substituted for the parties.*

Group Activity Homestay - 3 days to 4 weeks
Get out on the court or in the water for a fun-filled instructional sports program in basketball, surfing, computers, outdoor skills and experiences, tennis, golf, watersports or other. High school and college coaches or professional instructors provide training and supervision. Practice and scrimmage with American teens.
